Que trabajen los pobres, yo soy rico

So today was pretty cool, I went to my class at the MAP and everyone brought their work, the wannabe did not come, so I now strongly belive she was a wannabe, the couple brought some beautiful earings and amazing calaveras made out of cardboard, another guy also brought calaveras, and the one that makes the boxes brought some pictures of this kind of long wood angels and some luchador paintings, pretty cool. But the coolest was the 45 y-o woman, her name is Laura Hernandez, she is a well known artist in Europe mainly, she has three exhibits next month in Switzerland and Germany, she brought pictures of her work and an amaizing exhibit with gigantic heads made out of cardboard, it took five years for her to finish that instalation, and now is working in a new one about toys known all over the world, is so big that she had to rent a studio 8 meters high, so her things and machines could fit in, she is also working with specialist in lightning, sound, and architects, and she invited me to her studio, she gave me her business card ( she started painting on a piece of paper and then she put her name, phone number and e-mail address, how cool is that, of course I will save it ). Well the point is that she liked my work, at first I thought she was being polite but no, she actually like it, she gave me some advise and encourage me to work non-stop, she said she saw something in my work and that I have a great future, but I need to keep working, first for myself and make like 100 pieces, to take all my work from my walls and then start to fill the walls again. Said that 30 is a perfect age to start doing this type of things. She said she could have been rich already but she wanted to keep doing what she wants and not what the galleries want, she said LET THE POOR PEOPLE WORK, I AM RICH, and it is sooo true, I am rich too, I have been born with Cain´s mark, I am rich.
